1. Great stage props with high-emphasize in details
2. Gorgeous, expensive-looking wardrobe (mmg expensive kot..)
3. Storyline sgt menarik.. it shows how zapin being presented in the life of Malay community
4. World class dancers.. (diorg menari hampir 3 jam tanpa henti dgn senyuman n tak nmpk penat langsung.. salute beb!)
5. Penyanyi semua hebat-hebat belaka.. ada Ramli Sarip dan Azlina Aziz

Overall...
Berbaloi-baloi. Persembahan yg memukau. Rase bangga jd org Johor.. hehe.

Tahniah kpd Yayasan Warisan Johor diatas usaha memartabatkan seni warisan Melayu, khususnya warisan Johor. Harap sgt YWJ dpt bawak persembahan ni ke luar negara.

Festival Seni 2009 @ UM

Last Monday my sister and I attended annual art fest at Universiti Malaya. It's been quite a while since I watched a Malay traditional dance being performed live. The last time was during my uni days when I was one of the dancer. Ohh...how I love to dance especially zapin.

Anyway, I was there to watch my kid brother performs and I was quite shocked at how good he is. I'm so proud of him... :)

I really enjoyed all the performances and I felt great watching young people with passion towards Malay heritage and culture.
